What Do I Do When A Blue Screen Or No Signal Error Appears?

1.  Check the computer

Check the power light of the computer, it should be blue. Make sure that it is on as normally blue screen error is due to having an off computer. If it is on, turn it off & turn back on.

2.  Check the monitor

Normally if the monitor’s power light on the back is showing red, this means it's off. Turn on the monitor with the below steps:

** Using the remote control - point the remote to the left side about halfway up

** Turn on the TV by using the power button

3. Check the HDMI Cable

Check the HDMI cable that runs from the computer to the monitor/tv. Make sure it is properly secured at both ends.

If your booth is using an HDMI to VGA adapter like below. Make sure that the monitor is set to PC instead of HDMI1 or 2.

4.   If above won't fix the issue we recommend replacing the HDMI cable with a spare of HDMI Cable, replace the one currently connected to isolate if it is the cable which is the problem

5.  Connect the computer to a different monitor/tv and see if the blue screen disappears. If yes, then it’s the booth’s monitor which is faulty. Email us for replacement, support@photoboothint.com.  NOTE: We will only replace if your booth is still in warranty).

6.  If the blue screen remains, then the problem is with the computer. Just to be 100%, unplug the cable from the booth's computer and connect it to a different laptop/computer. If it worked, blue screen disappears using a different computer this means the computer is faulty. Email us for replacement, support@photoboothint.com.  NOTE: We will only replace if your booth is still in warranty).
